Throughout the years, many young people have benefited from the Club’s presence in the community. ASC encourages its players to focus equally on football development and their education. It is our goal to equip players with the best skills and training, in order to put them in the most suitable position to secure athletic scholarships, represent the Cayman Islands as members of national football team and pursue professional football opportunities.
In addition to fielding teams in the CIFA domestic leagues, from as young as the Under-12 up to adult teams, Academy Sports Club strives to ensure that each age-group attain a level of international exposure by participating in at least two overseas tournaments every year. Our teams have been successful at major tournaments in the United States, namely, the Schwan USA Cup and the Disney Cup International. In addition to participating in these tournaments, the Club also hosts Mini Slam Tournaments, two per year, which are growing and becoming increasingly popular.
Academy Sports Club is able to achieve all this with the support of an army of dedicated volunteers who make a difference in the lives of young men and women in our community. We have recently hired a full-time professional coach, who is focusing on further improving the development of our youth players.
In order to continue our Club’s mission, we rely on partners who generously provide sponsorship. Those funds help defray the cost of equipment, uniforms, coaches training and travel expenses.
As we embark upon the 2020/21 season, we do so with optimism and renewed enthusiasm. We are seeking to upgrade our facilities to implement changing rooms for the boys and girls as well as create a new area for tutoring and meetings for youth players.
A generous sponsorship from your company will help defray the cost of the upgrades as well as the cost of football equipment, uniforms and our full time coach.
We are currently offering branding presence on the field boards surrounding our main pitch. Each field board costs CI$4,000 per season (Sept to June) and is a great way for your company to assist in our community program while having some presence at our pitch which hosts more than 450 players and parents each week throughout the season plus additional events such as our one-day mini slam competitions for youth players which hosts around 500 parents and players.
